Frequently Asked Questions
Log in to your patient portal account and make sure to fill out all required information and provide all relevant medical records including previous imaging.
Wear loose fitting clothes so you are able to freely move around.
Time will be taken to review your medical history and any changes. Exercises and lifestyle improvements will be provided and/or reviewed. For in-person visits an entire musculoskeletal exam will be performed and gentle, well-tolerated osteopathic manipulative treatment will be applied to any areas of dysfunction. By the end of the visit there will be a mutually agreed upon plan.
Due to new exercises and/or osteopathic manipulative treatment there may be some mild soreness after. This is usually controlled by staying hydrating, getting an appropriate amount of sleep, and avoiding exercise.
There are many factors that come into play when determining a treatment plan. For instance, how long an underlying issue has been present and what in the body has compensated as a result of it. Also, how quickly a patient is able to implement any exercise/lifestyle adjustments. Generally speaking, a patient will be seen every 1-2 weeks for 3-4 visits and then the appointments will be extended out as tolerated with the goal of you improving to the point you need to see us the least amount possible.
