Patient first experience
What To Expect
New patients start with a 50 minute 1-on-1 visit with the physician. This meeting is to get to know more about you, your medical history, and any previous injuries/traumas. From there a plan is mutually agreed on that involves personally crafted exercises, lifestyle changes, and/or osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). OMT is a very gentle, well tolerated set of techniques aimed at restoring balance to your musculoskeletal system and to promote health and wellness. This requires you to wear loose fitting clothes without any sharp zippers or buttons so that you can be positioned comfortably on the exam table. There may be some post-treatment soreness which can be limited by being well hydrated after the appointment. The amount of visits needed varies depending on many factors and is tailored to each individual with the goal of getting to the root cause.
Expert Care
We offer both virtual, and in-person appointments. For virtual appointments you will receive a link prior to your appointment that has a very straightforward check in process. Our office is located at 905 W. Platt St inside of Modern Dermatology. Parking is available in the back and you will enter through the back entrance. You are immediately welcomed to our warm, inviting office with a comfortable waiting room off to your right. Since our appointments run on time there is no need to check in. Just have a seat and Dr. Bruner will be with you when your appointment time begins. The office has multiple large treatment rooms with state of the art examination tables that allow for multiple positions. If you happen to need a restroom, there is one located in the back left of the office.
Direct Care
In our direct care model, we emphasize personalized care and the satisfaction of our patients. Choosing a direct care model enables us to provide high-quality services without the limitations imposed by insurance companies. This approach allows us to spend more time with each patient, truly understanding their unique needs and creating customized treatment plans. Your health and well-being are our main focus, and we believe this model improves outcomes. We can provide documentation that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. We accept all major credit cards, including health or flex savings accounts (HSA/FSA).

New patients meet with Dr. Bruner for an in depth history, musculoskeletal physical exam, and treatment. Prior to your appointment you will be invited to our patient portal where you will submit all relevant information to be reviewed by Dr. Bruner.

For your follow-up visit is a 25 minute session with Dr. Bruner where any changes will be addressed, as well as a full musculoskeletal exam and relevant Osteopathic Manual Medicine.
